I have announced my departure from the Hillsborough Gallery of Arts on August 1. This was one of those really tough decisions that come along, when you find yourself at a crossroads and choosing one direction means NOT choosing the other. I'll still have a website and be painting and posting here. I needed to start a few new things and my painting needs to get weirder and more personal for a bit.I'll still see the artists who remain, but it feels like tearing something to leave. I didn't regret a minute of the time I spent on the Gallery - and I suspect it was better for me than I was for it. I learned a LOT.
