More Sweet Tooth

I came home one day about a month ago and found this hanging on our deck. I still can't believe how little my dear wife paid for this, considering how mush pleasure it gives me. The combination of the oranges and violets, ordinarily colors that are hard to unite, tied by the shared leaning towards pink - plus the texture of the orange blooms compared to the relatively textureless magenta - sets my heart dancing every time I see it. There is the extra game played in the orange blooms, where the overall color impresion is made from a red veining over a yellow ground. This is a pure confection.
